Griff the Reindeer Elf
I designed 'Griff the Reindeer Elf' and his little reindeer a couple of years ago and then packed him away in my sewing room. While doing my spring cleaning, I found him hidden in a box and took these pictures of Griff and his little reindeer. He was created with felt and fiber stuffing. After today, they will be stored with my Christmas scenery items. And to answer some of your questions.....yes......I named him after my son Griffith who was named after his great-great grandfather from Cardiff, Wales.

Hoppin' Down The Bunny Trail....
Susan O'Conner of Rabbit Hallow Prims hosted a 'Hoppin' Down The Bunny Trail' swap on her site and Facebook. She paired me with a wonderful lady and doll artist Dee Denise Salsgiver Comber. I created Missy Cottontail for Dee....and then turned it into a free pattern and a challenge on Cloth Doll Artistry. Today I received this big package and out came this beautiful bunny called, "Lilly." She is so precious and her cloth flowers are adorable. Dee did a great job. Miss Lilly is now sitting on a table in my livingroom for family and friends to see.

My Christmas Easter Bunny Rabbit
Kat Lees is the coordinator for Santa's Studio at Cloth Doll Artistry. Kat created a unique challenge for the studio members. She asked if Santa had to create a Easter Bunny, what would he look like. To view all the entries visit Cloth Doll Artistry and look for the link.
Below is my interpretation of an Easter Bunny that Santa created. He was fun to make and I will be adding him to my Etsy Store soon.

Shhhh....Baby Bunny is Sleeping
I made this little 3"x4" sleeping baby bunny from scraps of muslin. I originally painted her white and then beige, and then beige and white. My oldest cat believes this baby bunny is one of her toys and has tried to kidnap or.....bunnynap her twice so far. There is no cat nip in it...so I am left to wonder if she is getting high off the paint? Cats....they can be so strange.

Organizing Craft Supplies
Here are the other tin can holders I made with one of the smaller fabric books I had. Now my coloring pencils are at my finger tips instead of a desk drawer.

Sesame Street: Outdoors with Jason Mraz
Came across this cute video with the Sesame Street Muppets and singer Jason Mraz. He sings a parody of his song, 'I'm Yours' about going outdoors. The weather is starting to warm up and spring is just around the corner.....it makes you want to go outdoors just like the song suggests.

What Can You Do With a Tin Can?
For the past few weeks I have been working on my 'Spring Cleaning.' I know...it's not Spring yet....but I wanted to get a head start. In the process of cleaning my sewingroom I came across some old tin cans I had in a box and several Waverly Upholstery fabric sample books. I needed to make some new holders for my growing collection of coloring pencils........so with three tin cans, three 12"x6" scraps of fabric, and fabric glue I made three new holders under ten minutes and for no money. Now I need to collect more tin cans for my others pencils. :)
