The next morning we headed down the highway to Bethany Beach, Delaware. While Dan was in his meeting I went and took a walk on the Bethany Beach.
I took a few pictures of the beach and then decided to rent a chair and sit a few feet away from the ocean. I enjoy visiting Bethany Beach. It is always very clean and not as crowded as Ocean City usually is. It is more of a Baby Boomer beach.
Dan met me on the beach when his meeting was over and we stayed for a couple of hours sitting in our chairs relaxing and listening to the ocean waves. We wanted to stay longer....but we needed to head out and get back on the road again.
As we were heading back home....we decided to have dinner at St. Michaels in Maryland. A very historic town with beautiful shops and restaurants.
We found a quaint little restaurant and enjoyed our meal. After dinner we walked around town and took photos of the lovely colorful buildings.
After our little day visit we decided to head home. I included a map below so you can see how we traveled to Ocean City, Maryland and then to Bethany Beach, Delaware and then to St. Michaels in Maryland.
We traveled across the Bay Bridge to Annapolis and then drove an additional hour until we reached home sweet home.
It was a nice little trip.....but now I need to get back to sewing my dolls again.
